Urine Testing
Orlando Testing offers Urine testing as well as many other specimen types. Urine testing detects recent use, typically in the previous one to three days, however, longer detection is normal for chronic marijuana smokers. Urine testing is the only method of testing approved for federally mandated testing such as strict DOT and FMCSA guidelines.

ADVANTAGES OF URINE TESTING

DISADVANTAGES OF URINE TESTING
- Test subjects may use tactics to cheat a urinalysis test including sample substitution, adulteration, dilution as well as simple abstinence of drug use.
- Identifies only recent use – will not identify a pattern/history of drug use.
- Samples deteriorate over time and are affected by heat and humidity and are not easily collected, stored and shipped.
- Urine samples are considered a bio-hazard and require special approvals to allow for international collections and shipment.
- Commonly seen as an “invasive” method.
